To All Cinema Students:

While the School of Cinema’s faculty are proud of all our students’ achievements, and  we are thrilled when our students get into any festival,  we are sadly unable to provide any funding to apply or travel to any festivals.   Faculty do NOT give special allowance to miss class to students so that they may attend festivals.    We encourage students to consider carefully the cost and benefits of any festival opportunities they are offered.   We strongly advise students not to expend considerable sums of money in order to attend festivals, (a reputable festival will not charge you to screen your film if it has been selected) and to be wary of potential scams.
