An American Mosque, the thesis film by David Washburn (MFA 2014), has been invited to participate in the American Film Showcase, joining a list of prestigious films for the 2015-16 program, including The Overnighters by SFSU Cinema instructor Jesse Moss. AFS is the premier American film diplomacy program organizing screenings and workshops with American filmmakers in more than 35 countries.
