Another Cinema student heading to Cannes
Véronica Duport Deliz will screen her film in The Court Métrage (Short Film Corner) for this year’s Festival de Cannes.
Véronica, an MFA candidate, has been invited to show her first-year film, OVER THE FENCE, and she will travel to Cannes to do so. The film is a five-minute comedy about three young boys who venture over their neighbor's fence and are surprised by what they find on the other side.

Tongjue Huangfu (MFA candidate) will present NOTES, a six-minute drama that examines the relationship between a Chinese “tiger mom” and her American-born daughter. Dolan Chorng (BA candidate) directed CHOICE, which is just under four minutes and centers on a young couple’s argument about an important decision. During Campus Movie Fest last fall, CHOICE won Best Comedy at SF State.
Both Tongjue and Dolan plan to attend the festival in May.
