Cinema Alum, Silvia Turchin, will be having two local screening her new film, Dogs of the 9th Ward, a half-hour doc about the stray dogs of New Orleans and the people who work to get them off the streets:
- September 19th, 3pm, New Parkway Theater in Oakland, part of Locally Grown Docs festival
- October 1st, 5:30 pm, SF Public Library's Main Branch, Solo Screening + Q&A w/filmmakers, subject, and community groups
