New Faculty Position: Assistant Professor in Documentary Studies

The School of Cinema and the Department of Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts at San Francisco State University seek applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Documentary Studies beginning August 2016. The position focuses on the critical study and theorization of documentary cinema and media. We are particularly interested in candidates with scholarly expertise in emerging, networked, interactive, and hybrid documentary forms, as well as international and transnational documentaries, and anthropological cinema/media.
