Redemption Trail Screening directed by Britta Sjogren

Location: Coppola Theater (Fine Arts 101), SFSUREDEMPTION TRAIL, a modern Western written and directed in 2013 by Britta Sjogren, director of the SFSU School of Cinema, will have a free screening for students at 4 p.m. on May 6 in the Coppola Theater (Fine Arts 101). Prof. Sjogren will discuss the film in Prof. Joseph McBride’s course on women in the Western.
REDEMPTION TRAIL stars LisaGay Hamilton as a rugged northern Californian vineyard owner whose father is a murdered Black Panther. She makes an alliance with a troubled young woman (Lily Rabe), and together they battle the forces of reaction and violence.
