Oscar nominees at SF State

In our on-going involvement with the most important filmmakers of our time, the School of Cinema hosted directors Tamara Kotevska and Ljubomir Stefanov on October 30 in Cinema 307.  These Macedonian filmmakers received an unprecedented three awards at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and were nominated for an Academy Award both in the Best Documentary Feature and Best Foreign Language Film for HONEYLAND, the riveting portrait of a bee hunter in Macedonia.
